Thoughtful Thursday & Saying “Yes”

ON THE BLOG

SAYING “YES”

It can be scary to say "yes" in our lives.

We often choose the safe and comfortable path, instead of stepping outside of our comfort zone and asking ourselves why.

Saying "yes" may require us to take risks and try things we've never done before.

It can be uncomfortable, and sometimes it can lead to failure or embarrassment.

But it's important to remember that saying "yes" also means embracing all of ourselves, both the good and the bad.

In the last five years, I've learned the value of saying "yes."

I've said "yes" to new experiences, to taking chances, and to embracing the messiness of being human.

Saying "yes" has led me to learn so many new things, even when I was afraid to try.

And yes, it has also included moments of discomfort and embarrassment.

But saying "yes" has also taught me that failure is not really failure, but rather an opportunity to learn and grow.

Saying "yes" means saying "yes" to progress, improvement, and becoming the best version of ourselves.

But it also means saying "yes" to loving and accepting ourselves, even when we stumble along the way.

So, if you're feeling scared about saying "yes" to something new, remember that it's okay to feel uncomfortable.

It's okay to fail, and it's okay to embrace the messiness of life.

What could you create in your life this year by saying "yes" to yourself, to your growth, and to your journey?

What do you want to start saying “yes” to in 2024?
